Description for projects
UMBELCO model UPO 250 aluminum slats with PV4 classification of maximum resistance according to UNE 85-226-87 and UNE 85-227-87 standards and manufactured in continuous painted aluminum strip (COIL-COATING process), with high resistance to weathering according to salt spray test (more than 450 h in WEISS SSC 450 chamber). End ends of slats in PA 6 (nylon) of high resistance. Aluminum shafts with a minimum diameter of 8 mm and housed in an extruded aluminum support structure L-6063 with T5 anodized or lacquered treatment.
They are optionally available in any color of the RAL range with interior colors different from the exterior, and with slats in materials such as aluminum, steel, zinc or copper and optionally perforated or with interior steel reinforcement.
COMPONENTS
The UPO-250 aluminum adjustable louver system consists of profiled aluminum rhomboidal blades, tongue and groove and finished with polyamide end caps with maximum impact resistance. It has 8 mm diameter pivots on extruded aluminum frames L-6063 and T5 treatment in section of 40×40 millimeters.
VARIANTS
The UPO-250 aluminum louvers can be installed with the louvers in horizontal or vertical position, with the louvers perforated on one or both sides, and optionally, as a novelty, they are available with louvers in one color on each side. The frames on which the slats pivot can be sliding, hinged or lifting, and can be combined with the UPO-250 fixed slat system with clamps.

What is the UPO-250 made of?
The UPO-250 blades are aluminum, the frames are aluminum, the synchronization systems are aluminum, the control is cast iron, and the end caps are high-strength nylon and aluminum. All components are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life.

On what type of frames can I mount this lattice?
UPO-250 are usually installed on closed perimeter frames, made of 50x50mm or 40x40mm aluminum tube. Optionally, it can be supplied in other tube sections, or without the part of the frame that runs parallel to the slats.
I want an access area with these adjustable slats, is it possible?
Yes. This lattice can be mounted on movable frames, such as hinged doors or sliding frames. Folding or cantilevered frames can be manufactured, but in this slat section, they are very rare.
