The UPO-150 movable louvers combine strength and aesthetics thanks to their efficient design. Thanks to the extraordinary weight-to-strength ratio, they offer superior maximum lengths and maximum efficiency in sun protection. Its design is ideal for homes, schools, hospitals, museums, airports, industrial facilities or any location requiring solar protection. They are operated manually or by remote actuation systems.
Description for projects
UMBELCO type aluminum slats model UPO 150, with maximum resistance classification PV4 according to the UNE 85-226-87 and UNE 85-227-87 standards and manufactured in aluminum strip painted continuously (COIL-COATING process), with high resistance to weathering according to salt spray test (more than 450 h in WEISS SSC 450 chamber). End ends of slats in PA 6 (nylon) of high resistance. Shafts with a minimum diameter of 8 mm and housed in a support structure made of extruded aluminum L-6063 with T5 anodized or lacquered treatment.
They are optionally available in any color of the RAL range with interior colors different from the exterior and with slats in materials such as aluminum, zinc or copper and optionally perforated or with UPO 150 Safety® reinforcement.
COMPONENTS
The UPO-150 aluminum adjustable louver system consists of profiled aluminum rhomboidal blades, tongue and groove and finished with polyamide end caps with maximum impact resistance. It has 8 mm diameter pivots on extruded aluminum frames L-6063 and T5 treatment in section of 40×40 millimeters.
VARIANTS
The UPO-150 aluminum louvers can be installed with the louvers in horizontal or vertical position, with the louvers perforated on one or both sides, and optionally, as a novelty, they are available with louvers in one color on each side. The frames on which the slats pivot can be sliding, hinged or lift-and-slide, and combine with the same exterior appearance as the slats.

What is the UPO-150 lattice made of?
The UPO-105 blades are aluminum, the frames are aluminum, the synchronization systems are aluminum, the control is cast iron, and the end caps are high-strength nylon and aluminum. All components are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life.
